<p>The summit is designed to provide extensive insights into a number of translational cardiometabolic aspects including presentations from international experts and leading Danish Cardiometabolic researchers, poster and oral presentations by&nbsp;PhD students and Postdoc fellows, and plenty&nbsp;networking opportunities.</p>
<p><strong>Topics:</strong></p><ul> 	<li>Inflammation in diabetes</li> 	<li>Adipose tissue inflammation in cardiovascular disease</li> 	<li>Diet, inflammation, and cardiometabolic health</li> 	<li>Cardiometabolic disease and kidneys</li> 	<li>Cardiometabolic disease and&nbsp;brain</li> 	<li>Cardiometabolic disease and&nbsp;heart&nbsp;</li> 	<li>Inequity</li> 	<li>Future challenges in treatments of obesity and current drug status&nbsp;</li> </ul><p><br> Participation in the meeting&nbsp; is free of charge (incl. daily course activities, accommodation, and shared dinners).</p>
<p><strong>All PhD students</strong>&nbsp;are obliged to sign up in 2 places:&nbsp;<a href="https://events.au.dk/dca-ddeacardiometabolicsummit2025/signup" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">DCAcademy</a>&nbsp;and the <a href="https://phdcourses.ku.dk/detailkursus.aspx?id=112632&amp;sitepath=SUND" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">University of Copenhagen Graduate School</a>.&nbsp;<br> The&nbsp;<a href="https://healthsciences.ku.dk/phd/phd-courses/prices-and-fees/" target="_self">cancellation policies of the PhD School&nbsp;</a>will apply to all PhD students.</p>
<p><strong>ECTS:</strong> 3.1<br> <br> <strong>For PhD students and postdocs:</strong> The abstract and title of your presentation should be submitted during the sign up process.<br> Please follow the&nbsp;<a href="https://events.au.dk/dca-ddeacardiometabolicsummit2025/rules-for-abstract-submission" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer">rules</a> for the abstract submission.<br> Based on the submitted abstracts 24 PhD students and 16 Postdoc fellows will be selected to present their results at the meeting.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>No-show fee applicable for non-PhD students</strong><br> Please note in case of no-show&nbsp;the Academy will charge a&nbsp;<strong>no-show fee of 2000 DKK</strong>&nbsp;if you do not unregister from the summit&nbsp;<strong>at latest 8 March 2025</strong>.</p>

<p>The Cardiometabolic Networking Summit 2025 is organised by Danish Cardiovascular Academy, Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy, Steno Diabetes Center Copenhagen, and Steno Diabetes Center Aarhus.</p>
