<h3>Aim&nbsp;</h3>
<p>The aim of the Cardiometabolic Summit is to provide extensive insights into a number of translational cardiometabolic aspects with:&nbsp;</p></div><div><ul><li>Presentations from international experts and leading Danish Cardiometabolic researchers&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Posters and short oral presentations by PhD students and Postdoc fellows&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Networking opportunities.&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><h3>Topics&nbsp;</h3>
<p>The overall themes at the 2026 event are genetics and cardiometabolic changes during development and transition phases of life. The summit will be covering translational aspects in the interphase between cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.&nbsp;</p></div><div><p>The preliminary programme includes sessions covering:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p></div><div><ul><li>Fetal programming of cardiometabolic disease&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Genetics of cardiometabolic disease&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Early CVD Prevention in Obesity&nbsp;</li></ul></div></div><div><div><ul><li>Sex hormones and cardiometabolic disease&nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Atherosclerosis – a life-long perspective&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Stem cells and other cellular organoids&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Cardiometabolic Facts or Myths&nbsp;</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Preventive Medicine&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Target group</h3>
<p>Early career researchers as well as senior researchers within cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.&nbsp;</p>
<h3>When</h3>
<p>19-21 March 2026. On 18 March 2026 there will be pre-sessions for PhD students and Postdoc fellows, including masterclasses, and group exercises.</p>
<h3>Accommodation</h3>
<p>For early career researchers, accommodation will be in shared double rooms.</p>
<h3>Transportation&nbsp;</h3>
<p>There will be a shuttle bus from Fredericia Station to the venue on 18 March and 19 March, and from the venue to Fredericia Station on 21 March.</p>

<p>Please note that the DCAcademy will charge a no-show fee of 2000 DKK if you do not show up and have not unregistered 1 week prior to start.&nbsp;</p>
