The event gives you an overview of the possibilities of access to computer power in Denmark, and will help you make your first or next steps in the area of computer power in research. And not least, with this event we give you the opportunity to meet and talk to experts and researchers with experience in using computer power. 

Aim

The aim of the event is to give young researchers in Denmark an overview of the multiple possibilities of using high performance computing (HPC) across Denmark. We also aim to give you insights in current research projects that use different kinds of computer power, to inspire you to include similar power in your current or upcoming research projects.

Content

We will guide you through “the jungle” of high-performance computing. This guidance will include concrete examples of the use of different levels of high-performance computing in Denmark. 

In addition, we will enlighten you on what it demands from your datasets to gain from high performance computing.  

During the event there will be time to discuss with experts and researchers with experience in using computer power, and after a project dating-session we invite you to a networking dinner to round off the event. 

Who can attend?

PhD students and postdoctoral fellows and their PI’s.  

Priority to researchers within/across the fields of DDSA, DDEA, and DCA.
