Summer Meeting 2 - 4 June 2022

The annual DCAcademy Summer Meeting offers a great opportunity to meet top experts within most aspects of cardiovascular research. This year, you will be able to choose between basal or clinical sessions. Speakers on as different topics as the future of scientific publishing, innovation in medicin and imposter syndrome will provide significant insight.

Poster session

  • You will be presenting your poster during the poster session Friday 3rd of June from 15.30 to 17.00 
  • You will be divided into smaller poster groups with two chairs for each group 
  • There is assigned 5 minutes for each presentation including questions (2min + 3 min). You will be presenting according to the order listed in the abstract book which you will receive upon arrival
  • All presentations will be scored by the other presenters in the poster group and the overall best poster will be awarded with a Travel Grant of 5.000 DDK
  • Posters will be evaluated on the basis of following criteria: Layout, Validity of conclusion and Presentation
  • Poster size should be max. 150 cm wide x 120 cm high. Poster mounting will be possible Thursday 2nd from 18.30 

Abstract requirements

  • All PhD students attending must submit an abstract
  • Abstract is primarily for posters –a few PhD students will be selected to give an oral presentation based on abstract
  • Abstract must be max. 250 words / max. 1 A4.
  • Please feel free to include graphics or upload a graphical abstract
  • The abstract must contain: background, aim, method and results
  • The abstract may already have been presented elsewhere
