Journal club for younger researchers and supervisors with Dr. John Mandrola. The event will include a presentation on critical reading of scientific articles by John Mandrola, followed by presentations of the ORBITA-2 and ARTESIA studies by PhD students with discussion of the studies in plenary. The discussion will be followed by a shared lunch and networking.

Dr. John Mandrola

Dr. John Mandrola, MD, FACC is an invasive electrophysiologist at Baptist Health, Louisville, Kentucky, USA. In addition to his clinical work, he is a recognized health science writer and influencer. John Mandrola runs, among other things the popular podcast "This Week in Cardiology" and has a regular column at theheart.org Medscape Cardiology."

Allocation of seats

If the event is overbooked, the DCAcademy reserves its right to select participants based on the defined requirements. Priority is given to early career researchers (PhD-students and Postdoc´s) employed at Danish research and health-care institutions or in the life science industry. For some events a number of seats may be reserved for international participants employed at research and health-care institutions or in the life science industry. 

No-show fee

Please note that the DCAcademy will charge a no-show fee of 300 DKK if you do not show up and have not unregistered prior to start.
