Preliminary programme

Celebrate the field of cardiovascular research by joining the popular DCAcademy Summer Meeting 2024!

The annual DCAcademy Summer Meeting is a great opportunity to meet top experts within most aspects of cardiovascular research. This year’s summer meeting offers a programme with clinical, pre-clinical and basic research sessions, often in parallel, with the aim of creating a translational perspective on novel developments within cardiovascular research.

The programme further includes a poster session, workshops aimed at younger researchers, as well as keynote talks by leading cardiovascular researchers. Further, in a panel debate, including top clinicians from all over Denmark, we will discuss the future challenges in cardiovascular medicine.

Topics include:

  • Vascular disease: plenary and parallel session on cellular regulation in AF, inherited cardiac disease, somatic mutations in atherosclerosis and more
  • Rehabilitation and prevention
  • Molecular aspects of CV disease, including sudden cardiac death in the young, coronary physiology and imaging and more
  • A panel debate discussing whether peroperative atrial fibrillation must be considered as definite diagnosis.

Join the meeting and:

  • Stay updated on recent developments in cardiovascular research
  • Present your research to your fellow peers in an accommodating environment
  • Choose between basic, pre-clinical and clinical sessions
  • Reconnect with colleagues and peers and expand your network.
