Some personal and professional facts about Andrea 

Andrea is 23 years old and is originally from Scotland but has lived in Denmark since the age of two and now lives in Aarhus. She is currently studying a bachelor in English at Aarhus University. 

One of Andrea's professional strengths is textual and verbal communication skills as well as communication through visuals. Previously, Andrea has worked as an instructor at Aarhus University. Currently, Andrea also works as a student assistant on a research project about funding at School of Business and Social Sciences, Aarhus University.  

At DCAcademy, she will be assisting with content creation across our social media platforms as well as help around the office with different practical assignments. 

She is eager to learn more about the field of cardiovascular research while creating interesting and valuable content for our social media platforms. She will also be communicating about all the exciting courses and events organised by DCAcademy and/or our grant recipients. She expresses a particular interest in working with visuals combined with texts.  

A little fun fact about Andrea

An interesting thing to know about Andrea is that she has done a wide range of different activities in her spare time: handball, football, Krav Maga, choir, Zumba, dance, cheerleading and a few other things here and there.
