Would you like to meet other young researchers attending the SSAR annual meeting and at the same time get on top of the basics within the field – this meeting is designed for you! At the meeting we will have both networking activities, crash-courses in epidemiological and animal research methods, lipid metabolism, and updates on current treatment strategies. At the end of the meeting, we will make sure you are transferred safely to the SSAR meeting.
Who can attend?
This meeting is primarily organized for PhD students, postdocs or early carrier scientists that has submitted an abstract for the SSAR meeting 2024 and priority will be given as such. However additional seats will be given to other young researchers that have signed up

Topics for the meeting include:
- Networking
- Crash course in respectively epidemiological or animal research
- Basic lipid metabolism
- Up to date knowledge on treatment within both the lipid and cardiovascular field.
Format
A mix of lectures, group work, discussions, and networking activities!
Allocation of seats
Participation in the meeting is free of charge. DCAcademy will provide accommodation (in double or single room) for up to 40 participants. Researchers having submitted an abstract for the SSAR meeting will be prioritized
Certification
A course certificate will be sent to all participants upon request at the end of the course.
No-show fee
Please note in case of no-show the Academy will charge a no-show fee of 1000 DKK if you do not unregister from the course at latest 3 days before its start.
