During the symposium, the basic and clinical researchers will each present their work and vision on arrhythmias, cardiac-nervous interplay, genetic cardiomyopathy, heart transplantation, and clinical ablation therapies, among others. The diversity of topics and of expertise within cardiovascular science intend to serve as a source of inspiration for own research projects and future collaborations. The symposium is followed by a meeting on 25 November (prior registration needed) to make the initial steps towards a consortium in translational cardiology.
