Are you interested in connecting with leading experts in vascular biology, obesity, and associated risks? Curious about cutting-edge technologies in these fields and how to access them?
Join us for this transformative networking event, where the latest paradigm shifts in obesity research will be discussed, with a particular focus on co-morbidities and emerging treatment strategies. Dive into the core challenges of vascular biology, obesity, and their associated risks through engaging presentations and discussions.
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore a broad spectrum of technological, molecular, and integrative approaches for studying vascular changes linked to obesity. By the end of the event, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of both the research landscape and the clinical challenges within these fields. Plus, you’ll establish valuable connections with future research partners, setting the stage for impactful collaborations.
This networking event is brought to you by the Danish Cardiovascular Academy (DCA) and the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA).
Description
Danish Cardiovascular Academy (DCA) and Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy (DDEA) invite early-career and senior researchers to participate in a scientific networking event and examine the vascular-adipose link.
This 1-day event is designed for 30 participants working in the fields of vascular biology, obesity, metabolism, diabetes and other related areas of interest.
The scientific programme of the day will highlight:
- Vascular Dysfunction in Adipose Tissue and Its Implications
- Lymphatic Vessel Impairments in Obesity
- Obesity, Fat Distribution, and Perivascular Adipose Tissue
- Adipose Tissue Biology and Health Impact
- Clinical Aspects of Adipose Tissue Dysfunction and Its Role in Cardiometabolic Disease
Throughout the event, time is dedicated to networking and collaboration building in the informal, relaxed and beautiful setting of the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum.

Target Group
This course is intended for both early-career and senior researchers in metabolism, diabetes, and endocrinology. Basic, translational and clinical researchers working in all employment sectors are included in the scope. Since the event focuses on networking, we encourage persons seeking research partners with whom to build collaborations to attend. Other stakeholders in these fields are also welcome.
Participants are selected on a first come, first served basis; however you are not guaranteed a seat in the event if you do not meet the target group requirements.
