Aim of symposium

This symposium will focus on the latest advances in atherosclerosis research from Danish and international research groups, highlighting recent breakthroughs in understanding atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with experts in the field, as we invite all participants to the informal closing reception.  

Recommended participants

The event is open to participants at all career stages who are involved in, or planning to engage in, atherosclerosis research. If you are not personally invited to present, please choose the sign-up option 'Symposium participant'.

Visiting Faculty Programme

The programme supports the visit of a Visiting Faculty consisting of 3-5 visiting Professors within a common area of research. The Visiting Faculty will visit 2-3 research groups in Denmark (the hosting research unit). Focus for the programme should be to promote exchange of knowledge and networking between international senior scientists and Danish researchers – younger and senior. Allocation of seats

Please note that you are not guaranteed a seat at the event if you do not meet the target group requirements. Priority is given to early career researchers (PhD-students and Postdocs) employed at Danish research and healthcare institutions or in life science industry. A number of seats may be reserved for participants from abroad. If the event is overbooked, DCAcademy reserves the right to select participants based on the defined requirements.

Participation cost 

DCAcademy covers participation fee and catering.
