Form and duration: The course runs over two half-days of three - four hours.
- First day: structuring presentations; targeting audience; body language; rhetorical devices; use of visual aids for 3 hours followed by a sandwich and time to network for one hour.
- Second day: your performative competencies in groups of 6 participants. You are expected to prepare a short oral presentation (max. 8 min.) of either your own research project in general or a central part of your PhD project.
You will receive personal guidance and feedback on your presentation technique, including your visual aids, language, body language, content, and overall effectiveness.
Day 1: 5th of September 2023 (8 am – 12 noon)
Day 2: 19.09.2023 from 8 am to 11.30 am or from 12.30 pm to 4 pm,
20.09.2023 from 8 am to 11.30 am or from 12.30 pm to 4 pm
or 21.09.2023 from 8 am to 11.30 am.
